Regular Season Round 6: Cent.Coast C. - Hornsby S. 65-77

There was an upset in Terrigal where higher ranked Crusaders (3-1) were defeated by seventh ranked Spiders (3-3) 77-65 on Saturday. Spiders looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Crusaders were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Darcy Emery who scored 21 points and 6 assists. Jack Larkins chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Callum Jenkins who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and forward James Trustum (192) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Crusaders' coach tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Spiders moved-up to sixth place in League. Loser Crusaders dropped to the fourth position with one game lost. Spiders will face league's leader Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in Narrabeen in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Crusaders will play on the road against Sydney City Comets in Alexandria and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
