Everything went according to plan when second ranked Fukushima (30-20) beat on the road 6th ranked Iwate Big Bulls (7-45) 83-74 on Saturday. Fukushima forced 19 Iwate Big Bulls turnovers. Iwate Big Bulls were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Deon Jones (198-93, college: Monmouth) stepped up and scored 24 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and guard Shota Kanno (187-92) chipped in 14 points. American center Jalen McGaughy (208, college: Dillard) responded with 18 points and 4 steals and the other American import forward Jahmar Thorpe (198-84, college: Houston) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds.
