Regular Season Round 6: Mazatlan - Guasave 76-84

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Frayles de Guasave (4-2) beat on the road 9th ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (1-5) 84-76. American players dominated also this game. The best player for the winners was forward Sammy Yeager (193-89, college: CS Fullerton) who scored 32 points and 6 rebounds. Center Anthony Parker (206-93) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Frayles de Guasave players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Isaiah Wilkerson (191-90, college: NJIT) who recorded 33 points (!!!) and forward Devin White (203-88, college: SUNO) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Frayles de Guasave keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Guaymas and Hermosillo. Lobos UAD Mazatlan at the other side keeps the ninth place with five games lost. Frayles de Guasave's next round opponent will be league's leader Rayos de Hermosillo at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lobos UAD Mazatlan will play against Caballeros de Culiacan (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
