Regular Season Round 31: SAP Vaucluse - CFBB 100-67

The game between seventeenth ranked SAP Vaucluse (10-21) and 18th ranked CFBB (1-28) in Sorgues on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. SAP Vaucluse outscored guests from Paris 100-67. SAP Vaucluse dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 34. SAP Vaucluse had a 29-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for SAP Vaucluse especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Wayne Morris (198-77, college: Shippensburg) contributed with 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Center Mathis Dossou-Yovo (202-0) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and the former international center Essome Miyem (208-1) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for CFBB. Five SAP Vaucluse and four CFBB players scored in double figures. SAP Vaucluse moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with GET Vosges. CFBB lost sixth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 28 lost games. SAP Vaucluse will face league's leader Gries/Oberhoffen in Bischwiller in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CFBB will play at home against the league's leader Gries/Oberhoffen (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
