Very predictable result when fifth ranked Civitanova (17-8) beat on the road 15th ranked Alghero (2-23) 61-53 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was power forward Jomanda Rosier (184-89) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Margherita Mataloni (165-95) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Four Civitanova players scored in double figures. Civitanova's coach Donatella Melappioni allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Sara Azzellini (170-86) who recorded 13 points and 4 assists and Arianna Beretta (178-96, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 14 points respectively. Civitanova maintains fifth place in A2 with 17-8 record. Loser Alghero keeps the fifteenth position with 23 games lost.
