Kyiv Basket cruised past Chaika on the road to sweep the semifinal series. Chaika was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 45-25 second half run of Kyiv Basket. They outrebounded Chaika 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Chaika was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international swingman Anna Olkhovyk (188-87, agency: Promotex) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and international guard Olga Krayevska (171-94) supported her with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Even 15 points and 6 rebounds by the former international forward Olexandra Radulovich-Kurasova (186-86) did not help to save the game for Chaika.
