Regular Season Round 31: GET Vosges - Gries/Oberhoffen 95-99

NM1 top team - Gries/Oberhoffen (26-3) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifteenth ranked GET Vosges (10-21) in Golbey 99-95. Gries/Oberhoffen looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a quality performance for American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 16 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Guard Oumarou Sylla (185-92) accounted for 15 points and 7 assists for the winning side. American forward Rashid Gaston (206-94, college: Norfolk St., agency: Inception Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and forward Masse Doumbe (203-87, college: Keiser) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for GET Vosges in the defeat. Four Gries/Oberhoffen and five GET Vosges players scored in double figures. Gries/Oberhoffen have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 26-3 record. GET Vosges lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with 21 games lost. They share it with SAP Vaucluse. Gries/Oberhoffen will meet bottom-ranked CFBB (#18) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. GET Vosges will play against Lourdes-Tarbes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
