Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Shiga L-Stars (19-34) beat at home 6th ranked Hitachi Sunrockers (25-29) 80-74 on Sunday. Shiga L-Stars looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Australian forward Venky Jois (202-93, college: E.Washington) stepped up and scored 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and guard Narito Namizato (172-89) chipped in 9 points and 9 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and Canadian center Robert Sacre (213-89, college: Gonzaga) scored 18 points. Hitachi Sunrockers' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Shiga L-Stars maintains fourth place with 19-34 record.
