Regular Season Round 30: Mataro Feimat - Vic 76-80

No shocking result in a game when first ranked Vic (20-4) beat on the road 9th ranked Mataro Feimat (10-14) 80-76 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Mataro Feimat won third quarter 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for power forward Samuel Dominguez (204-91, college: La Palma) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Julian Garrote (185-82) contributed with 21 points for the winners. David Romero (-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Ventura Sergi added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Mataro Feimat. Four Mataro Feimat players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Vic have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Vic maintains first position in Group C-B with 20-4 record. Loser Mataro Feimat keeps the ninth place with 14 games lost. Vic will face Palma II (#5) in S'Arenal in the next round. Mataro Feimat will play on the road against Andorra II (#12) and hope to win that game.
