Regular Season Round 25: LF Future - Trelleborg 85-99

No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Trelleborg (7-17) beat bottom-ranked LF Future (2-23) in Lulea 99-85 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Trelleborg. LF Future managed to win fourth quarter 37-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Trelleborg dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future's 32 and made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded LF Future 36-24 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Trelleborg looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Jordan Gerami Lou (-97) nailed a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 assists for the winning side and American Justin Berry (198-88, college: Newman) accounted for 32 points and 7 rebounds. Four Trelleborg players scored in double figures. Naturalized Serbian guard Stefan Zivkovic (185-93) came up with 36 points (!!!) and 5 assists and American guard Brian Curry (185-86) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for LF Future in the defeat. Trelleborg moved-up to seventh place. LF Future lost their twenty first game in a row. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Trelleborg will meet IK Eos (#8) in the next round. LF Future will play against the league's second-placed Wetterbygden having rather not much hope for a victory.
