Bottom-ranked Betaland Cdo managed to get a sixth victory, breaking the fourteen-game losing streak. This time they edged fourteenth-ranked New Basket BR in Brindisi 75-74. American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina, agency: Two Points) saved the victory by scoring 27 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import point guard Adam Smith (185-92, college: Georgia Tech) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American-Venezuelan Donta Smith (201-83, college: SE Illinois JC) replied with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Marco Giuri (194-88) added 17 points and 5 assists in the effort for New Basket BR. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Betaland Cdo (6-20) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with VL Pesaro. New Basket BR at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 18 games lost.
