Regular Season Round 30: Salt - Olivar 79-83

Very predictable result when eighth ranked Olivar (11-13) won against on the road 13th ranked Salt (5-19) 83-79 on Sunday. It was a good game for forward Jaime Fernandez (203-0) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Carlos Alocen (189-0) contributed with 20 points and 4 steals for the winners. Five Olivar players scored in double figures. American forward Tylor Wimbish (201-93, college: Mo.-St.Louis) replied with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Hasain Bunnell (198, college: Miles) added 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Salt. Salt's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Olivar maintains eighth position in Group C-B with 11-13 record. Loser Salt keeps the thirteenth place with 19 games lost. Olivar will face higher ranked Valls Nutrion (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Salt will play against Mollet (#6) and hope to win that game.
