Regular Season Round 6: BA CoE - Sydney Uni S. 50-57

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th ranked BA CoE (1-3) lost to eighth ranked Sydney Uni S. (1-2) in Canberra 50-57 on Sunday. It was a good game for center Lara McSpadden (193-99) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Power forward Shanae Greaves (183-93) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Shyla Heal (167-1) replied with 11 points and Elissa Brett added 9 points in the effort for BA CoE. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sydney Uni S. left bottom position moving up to seventh place in League. Loser BA CoE dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Sydney Uni S. will face higher ranked Diamond Valley Eagles (#6) in Greensborough in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
