Regular Season Round 29: Capo d'Orlando - Roma Luiss 81-83

Eighth-ranked Capo d'Orlando (13-15) used its home court advantage to challenge seventh ranked Roma Luiss (18-11). The visitors from Roma managed to secure only two-point victory 83-81. However their fans expected easier game. The best player for the winners was swingman Antongiulio Bonaccorso (197-97) who scored 23 points. Center Raffaele Martone (208-90) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Roma Luiss' coach Andrea Paccarie allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Bosnian point guard Amar Balic (180-96) produced 20 points and 8 assists and guard Andrea Sorrentino (190-90) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Capo d'Orlando players scored in double figures. Roma Luiss moved-up to fifth place in B, which they share with Faenza and Lecco. Newly promoted Capo d'Orlando dropped to the tenth position with 15 games lost. Roma Luiss' next round opponent will be Battipaglia (#14) at home and are hoping to win another game. Capo d'Orlando will play against Catanzaro (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
