Regular Season Round 29: Kleb Ferrara - Aurora Jesi 75-58

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Kleb Ferrara (16-13) defeated at home 7th ranked Aurora Jesi (16-13) 75-58 on Sunday. American-Irish forward Mike Hall (203-84, college: G.Washington) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Swedish-American Erik Rush (196-88, college: Montana St.) chipped in 25 points and 8 rebounds. Kleb Ferrara's coach Alberto Martelossi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international swingman Pierpaolo Marini (193-93) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and the former international power forward Tommaso Rinaldi (205-85, agency: Interperformances) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Kleb Ferrara moved-up to seventh place in A2. Kleb Ferrara will face UCC Piacenza (#13) in Casalpusterlengo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Aurora Jesi will play at home against Orasi Ravenna (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
