There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Bergamo (10-19) edged on the road higher ranked Orasi Ravenna (16-13) 81-79 on Sunday. Bergamo made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Orasi Ravenna was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Dominican guard Gelvis Solano (185-94, college: Merrimack, agency: Basket Management Solutions) stepped up and scored 19 points and 5 assists for the winners and American-Hungarian forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Five Bergamo players scored in double figures.
