The game was mostly controlled by ICIM Arad. Alba Iulia was better in second period 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ICIM Arad players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American guard Porsche Poole (172-89, college: Michigan St.) stepped up and scored 29 points and 4 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winners and her fellow American import forward Monique Coker (185-82, college: ODU) chipped in 20 points and 11 rebounds. Poole is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side the former international Marta Fodor (183-91) responded with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian center Kristina Arsenic (193-97) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
