Regular Season Round 28: Hyeres-Toulon - ES Chalonnais 90-78

An interesting game took place in Toulon where higher ranked ES Chalonnais (16-9) was upset on the court of fourteenth ranked Hyeres-Toulon (12-15) 90-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ES Chalonnais. It was a very good performance for center Quentin Losser (204-99) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Naturalized Burkinabe guard Shany Sanou (185-99) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Hyeres-Toulon's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Etienne Ca (210-97) replied with 18 points and 8 rebounds and guard Matthieu Missonnier (184-97) added 19 points in the effort for ES Chalonnais. Four ES Chalonnais players scored in double figures. Hyeres-Toulon moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Le Portel. ES Chalonnais at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. Hyeres-Toulon's next round opponent will be higher ranked Monaco (#7) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. ES Chalonnais will play against Bourg and hope to win that game.
