Regular Season Round 28: Antibes - Cholet 61-110

ProA U21 top team - Cholet (24-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighteenth ranked Antibes (0-24) 110-61. Cholet dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Antibes' 38. They outrebounded Antibes 57-27 including a 36-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Cholet players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Antibes was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by Congolese forward Rigo Edzata (203-97) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and guard Killian Hayes (194-1) supported him with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Cholet players scored in double figures. Even 13 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals by point guard Tom Wiscart Goetz (188-99) did not help to save the game for Antibes. Belgian Giuliano Neri (193-99) added 14 points for lost side. Cholet have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 24-1 record. Antibes at the other side still closes the standings. Cholet will play against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#16) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Antibes will play against Le Portel and hopes to get finally their first victory.
