Regular Season Round 32: CFBB - Orchies 56-96

There was no surprise in Paris where 18th ranked CFBB (1-30) was outplayed by thirteenth ranked Orchesien BC (13-18) 96-56 on Tuesday. Orchesien BC dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 34. They outrebounded CFBB 42-24 including a 34-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Orchesien BC looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by CFBB's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Robert Turner (190-93, college: Texas Tech) who added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists during the contest. Four Orchesien BC players scored in double figures. Guard Lorenzo Thirouard-Samson (197-1) responded with 18 points and 4 steals and forward Marko Coudreau (202-0) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Orchesien BC maintains thirteenth position with 13-18 record. CFBB lost eighth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 30 lost games. Orchesien BC will face higher ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (#10) in Boulogne-sur-Mer in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. CFBB will play on the road against La Charite (#11) and hope to win that game.
