Regular Season Round 10: Brusque - Sao Jose 74-73

The most exciting game of round 10 in the Liga Ouro took place in Brusque. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked Sao Jose (9-3) to eighth ranked Brusque (2-10) 74-73 on Tuesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. Kleiton Torres (201-89) fired 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Thiago Freitas (210-89) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. The former international Marcio Dornelles (196-75) produced 15 points and 6 rebounds and center Feliciano Perez (210-90) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Sao Jose players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Brusque maintains eighth position with 2-10 record. Sao Jose at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. Brusque are looking forward to face higher ranked Blumenau (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sao Jose will play against Londrina (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
