Regular Season Round 29: Legia - Rosa 89-98

Not a big story in a game when 17th ranked Legia (5-26) lost to seventh ranked Rosa (19-14) in Warszawa 89-98 on Wednesday. Rosa made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard AJ English (192-92, college: Iona) nailed 23 points and 6 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the winning side and American-Jamaican guard Ryan Harrow (188-91, college: Georgia St., agency: 3Eye) accounted for 22 points and 6 assists. Four Rosa players scored in double figures. American point guard Chauncey Collins (183-95, college: TCU) came up with 32 points and power forward Michal Kolodziej (202-97, agency: Alti Sport) added 13 points respectively for Legia in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rosa moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Legia stay dead last with 26 lost games. Rosa will meet at home Asseco (#10) in the next round. Legia will play against PGE Turow (#8) in Zgorzelec and hope to secure a win.
