The game between second ranked Twarde Pierniki (23-9) and 6th ranked Trefl (18-14) in Torun on Wednesday ended with biggest points difference. Twarde Pierniki outscored guests from Sopot 105-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Trefl. Twarde Pierniki shot 64.5 percent from the field. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Twarde Pierniki have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 23-9 record having just one point less than leader Anwil. Trefl at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with PGE Turow and King. Twarde Pierniki will meet Stelmet Enea BC (#4) in the next round. Trefl will play against Wilki Morskie and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
