Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Orvieto (13-13) won against at home 13th ranked Forli (4-22) 75-62 on Wednesday. Orvieto looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Forli's players. Quite impressive performance for forward Giulia Manzotti (178-93) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Anna Bambini (177-99) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Orvieto's coach Massimo Romano used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Omotayo Olajide-Beatrice (181-98) replied with 13 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Benedetta Gramaccioni (171-98) added 8 points and 4 assists in the effort for Forli. Orvieto moved-up to eighth place in A2. Newly promoted Forli keeps the thirteenth position with 22 games lost.
