Second Stage Round 1: Lovcen - Ulcinj 88-80

Lovcen used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Ulcijn 88-80. Ulcinj was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Serbian point guard Petar Aranitovic (194-94, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up and scored 24 points for the winners and the former international Aleksa Popovic (201-87) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Lovcen players scored in double figures. Lovcen's coach Dragan Radovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American point guard Griffin Ramme (190-89, college: Chapman) responded with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import guard Kasey Shepherd (190-94, college: La-Lafayette) scored 20 points and 4 assists. Lovcen will play against Buducnost in Podgorica in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ulcinj will play at home against Mornar Bar (#3) to get more than just one victory in their record.
