No shocking result in a game when third ranked Aguilas Doradas de Durango (6-3) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (1-7) 94-81 on Wednesday. Aguilas Doradas de Durango looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Jevonlean Hedgeman (201, college: La-Lafayette) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import point guard Jeffery Stubbs (189-91, college: Jackson St.) who added 22 points, 9 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Ramon Rodriguez responded with 20 points and 7 assists and American forward Nick Harney (203-92, college: Fairmont St.) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Five Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aguilas Doradas de Durango keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Tijuana. Defending champion Halcones de Ciudad Obregon stay at the bottom place with seven games lost. Aguilas Doradas de Durango will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon will play against Caballeros de Culiacan (#7) and hope to win that game.
