Olimpia Brasov knocked down Cluj Napoca in the consolation finals opener. The game was mostly controlled by Olimpia Brasov. Cluj Napoca managed to win third quarter 25-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Serbian Biljana Pesovic (180-83) nailed 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and American center Kristina Higgins (196-94, college: Baylor) accounted for 16 points and 13 rebounds.
