Very expected game in Buenos Aires where 17th ranked Boca Juniors (11-21) was crushed by fifth ranked Quimsa (21-13) 82-61 on Friday. Quimsa dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Boca Juniors' 32. The best player for the winners was American guard Novar Gadson (201-89, college: Rider, agency: DTMones) who scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. American-Jamaican center Torin Francis (210-83, college: Notre Dame) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Four Quimsa players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Mariano Fierro (200-86) who recorded 6 points and 13 rebounds and American center Paul Harrison (203-89, college: N.Greenville) added 16 points respectively. Boca Juniors' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Quimsa maintains fifth position with 21-13 record. Loser Boca Juniors keeps the seventeenth place with 21 games lost. Quimsa will meet Hispano Am. (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
