Regular Season Round 10: UniFacisa - Brasilia 66-73

Very important is a home loss of third ranked UniFacisa (8-5) against fifth ranked Brasilia (7-5) on Friday night. Host UniFacisa was defeated by Brasilia in a tough game at home 66-73. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Wesley Russell (193-93, college: Ohio Christian) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import guard Louis Munks (190-90, college: Prairie View A&M) contributed with 22 points (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Russell is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Chris Allen (190-88, college: Iowa St.) replied with 23 points and 5 assists and power forward Rodrigo Reis (208-90, college: Adams St.) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for UniFacisa. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brasilia have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 7-5 record. UniFacisa at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Brasilia will play against Macae (#6) on the road in the next round. UniFacisa will have a break next round.
