No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Oviedo CB (22-11) crushed at home 13th ranked Magia Huesca (12-21) 80-61 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-61. Oviedo CB outrebounded Magia Huesca 37-20 including a 29-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Senegalese forward Mouhamed Barro (205-95) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field). Center Oliver Arteaga (208-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Oviedo CB players scored in double figures. Dutch forward Kevin van-Wijk (203-89, college: Valparaiso) answered with 17 points and forward Sergio Rodriguez (195-93) added 13 points in the effort for Magia Huesca. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Oviedo CB. Oviedo CB maintains fourth place with 22-11 record. Loser Magia Huesca keeps the thirteenth position with 21 games lost. Oviedo CB will face league's leader Leche Rio Breogan in Lugo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Magia Huesca will play at home against Ourense (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
