Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked San Fernando (11-15) beat at home 9th ranked Andujar (7-18) 102-97 on Saturday. Andujar was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for Jose Ruiz (200-97) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Juan-Miguel Pina (189-96) helped adding 26 points. San Fernando's coach Juan Luis Esteban used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side forward Javier Anton (198-87) responded with 24 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Eugenio Martinez (182-1) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. Four San Fernando and five Andujar players scored in double figures. San Fernando moved-up to fourth place in Group D-Permam, which they share with San Juan and Utrera. Loser Andujar keeps the ninth position with 18 games lost. San Fernando will face Unicaja-Andalucia (#7) in Malaga in the next round. Andujar will play at home against the league's second-placed Benahavis and hope to win that game.
