The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Bruins' (2-4) home loss to fifth ranked Sharks (3-2) 60-65 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American point guard Chelsie Schweers (170-89, college: Chris.Newport) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Madeleine Norris helped adding 19 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side Briana Maimone responded with 22 points and Olivia White scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Bruins' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Sharks moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser Bruins dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Sharks will face Crusaders (#5) in Terrigal in the next round.
