Regular Season Round 7: S.Adelaide P. - Norwood F. 44-99

Date: April 21, 2018
No shocking result in a game in Adelaide where third ranked Flames (4-2) outleveled bottom-ranked Panthers (0-6) 99-44 on Saturday. Flames forced 21 Panthers turnovers and outrebounded them 61-29 including a 26-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Panthers' players. It was a great evening for forward Jessica Good (186-94) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Chelsea Roberts helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Flames players scored in double figures. At the losing side Jadda Jefferies responded with 14 points and Danita Goodwin scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Flames maintains third place in League with 4-2 record having just ten point less than leader Brisbane C. Loser Panthers still closes the standings with six games lost. Flames will face Tigers (#4) in Morphett Vale in the next round. Panthers will play at home against Eagles (#6) and hope to get finally their first victory.
