Quite impressive performance for point guard Deba George (183-85) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 6 rebounds. American power forward Rashad Hassan (203-89, college: Savannah St.) contributed with 27 points for the winners. Bandits' coach Brad Chalmers used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American forward Jeremiah Ingram (201-93, college: N.C.Central) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds and guard Lachlan Barker (179-96) added 21 points in the effort for NW Tasmania Thunder. Bandits moved-up to second place in League. Loser NW Tasmania Thunder keeps the fifth position with three games lost. Bandits will face league's second-placed Bendigo Braves on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. NW Tasmania Thunder will play against Sabres and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
