Rather predictable result when leader Bendigo Braves (2-0) won against at home 3rd placed Chargers (2-2) 92-88 on Saturday. Bendigo Braves looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Quite impressive performance for naturalized American guard Indiana Faithfull (193-91, college: W.Liberty St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. American forward Ray Turner (206-90, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 24 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Bendigo Braves players scored in double figures. Bendigo Braves' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Craig Moller (203-94, agency: MKP Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and naturalized South Sudanese swingman Mathiang Muo (196-87, college: Charleston So.) added 20 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Chargers. Despite that victory Bendigo Braves went down to second position (League) due to points difference. Loser Chargers dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Bendigo Braves will face league's second-placed Bandits in Albury in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Chargers will play at home against Sabres and hope to win that game.
