No shocking result in a game in Tokyo where first ranked Chiba Jets (42-13) smashed 6th ranked Hitachi Sunrockers (25-31) 84-63 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Chiba Jets made 8 blocks. The former international point guard Yuki Togashi (170-93) fired 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Leo Lyons (206-87, college: Missouri) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Canadian center Robert Sacre (213-89, college: Gonzaga) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and international point guard Leo Vendrame (183-93) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Chiba Jets have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 42-13 record. Hitachi Sunrockers lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 31 games lost. Chiba Jets will face Hokkaido L.
