Finals Game 1: Kyiv Basket - Interkhim 85-57

Kyiv Basket eased past Interkhim to take 1-0 lead in Finals. The game was mostly controlled by Kyiv Basket. Interkhim was better in fourth quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Kyiv Basket outrebounded Interkhim 56-30 including a 41-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Interkhim's players. The former international power forward Tetyana Yurkevicius (187-95) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and the former international swingman Anna Olkhovyk (188-87, agency: Promotex) accounted for 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Kyiv Basket players scored in double figures. Kyiv Basket's coach Volodimir Kholopov felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Yulia Musienko (177-97) came up with 15 points and 5 steals and point guard Yelyzaveta Mitina (172-98) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Interkhim in the defeat.
