There was a minor upset when 3rd placed Dandenong Rangers (3-2) lost at home to third ranked BA CoE (2-1) 91-84 on Saturday. Quite impressive performance for swingman Daniel Grida (195) who helped to win the game recording 24 points. Forward Kyle Bowen (200-0) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international swingman Anthony Drmic (198-92, college: Boise St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Rhys Vague (204-96) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Dandenong Rangers. Five BA CoE and four Dandenong Rangers players scored in double figures. Despite that victory BA CoE went down to fifth position (League) due to points difference. Loser Dandenong Rangers still keep top place with two games lost. BA CoE will have a break next round. Dandenong Rangers will play on the road against Kilsyth Cobras and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
