Everything could happen in Melbourne at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Blackburn V. and 12th ranked Stingrays had identical 1-4 record. This time Blackburn V. used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Geelong 82-76 on Saturday night. Blackburn V. forced 20 Stingrays turnovers. It was a very good performance for forward Ryan Benson (198-81) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds. Michael DAgostino contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Loser Stingrays keep the twelfth position with five games lost. Blackburn V. will face league's leader Ringwood Hawks in Heathmont in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
