The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked CB Granada (23-7) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by tenth ranked Fundacion 5+11 (14-17) 86-63. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of CB Granada. The game was mostly controlled by Fundacion 5+11. CB Granada managed to win second period 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fundacion 5+11 had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. It was a good game for Latvian guard Kristaps Gluditis (191-95) who led his team to a victory with 26 points. American forward Rodney Williams (201-93, college: Drexel) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Fundacion 5+11 players scored in double figures. Naturalized Argentinian forward Alejandro Bortolussi (202-89) replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Senegalese center Maodo Nguirane (210-93) added 6 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for CB Granada. CB Granada's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Fundacion 5+11 maintains tenth position with 14-17 record. CB Granada at the other side still keeps top place with seven games lost. They share the position with La Roda.
