The most exciting game of round 29 in the Liga Endesa took place in Valencia. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Unicaja Malaga (17-12) to fourth ranked Valencia Basket (20-9) 74-73 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Unicaja Malaga. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 23-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Unicaja Malaga at the other side keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Andorra and Gran Canaria. Valencia Basket is looking forward to face Joventut (#15) in Badalona in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Unicaja Malaga will play at home against RETAbet BB (#17) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
