Everything could happen in Cheltenham at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Sabres and 5th ranked Hobart Chargers had identical 1-2 record. This time Sabres used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Hobart 100-68 on Sunday night. Sabres made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Sabres especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Hobart Chargers were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international Rachel Jarry (185-91) who led her team to a victory scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds. New Zealand forward Jessica Bygate (186-92) helped adding 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Sabres players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Brittany Smart (175-85, college: Cedarville) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Sharna Thompson scored 12 points and 4 assists. Sabres (2-2) moved-up to fifth place in League. Loser Hobart Chargers dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Sabres will face again Hobart Chargers (#6) on the road in the next round.
