Regular Season Round 7: Keilor T. - Hume City 77-84

There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Keilor T. (2-3) lost to ninth ranked Hume City Broncos (3-3) in Melbourne 77-84 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for American forward Trevon Clayton (198, college: Fresno Pacific) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Mike Rose (193-87, college: E.Kentucky) contributed with 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Hume City Broncos players scored in double figures. Colombian forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea (206-93, college: E.Tenn.St.) answered with 27 points and 7 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and American guard Jordan Coleman (196-92, college: Valparaiso) added 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Keilor T.Hume City Broncos moved-up to eighth place in League. Newly promoted Keilor T. dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Hume City Broncos will face higher ranked Eltham Wildcats (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Keilor T. will play against Magic (#6) in Hawthorn and hope to win that game.
