An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Pireus. Second ranked Faros Keratsiniou faced 4th placed Dafni Agioy. Host Faros Keratsiniou (18-3) defeated guests from Athens (12-9) 63-47. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dafni Agioy. The game was mostly controlled by Faros Keratsiniou. Dafni Agioy managed to win third quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Dafni Agioy to just 4 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Dafni Agioy 48-26 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Lykendra Johnson (185-89, college: Michigan St.) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. Her fellow American import forward Jade Walker (185, college: St.John's) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Blake Dietrick (178-93, college: Princeton, agency: LBM Management) who recorded 20 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Roula Mouli (178-85) added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Dafni Agioy's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Faros Keratsiniou maintains second place with 18-3 record having just three points less than leader Olympiacos. Dafni Agioy at the other side keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. Faros Keratsiniou are looking forward to face Panionios (#3) in Athens in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Dafni Agioy will play at home against Esperides and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
