Very expected game when 14th ranked Eurobasket Roma (12-18) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Agrigento (15-15) 86-81 on Sunday. Eurobasket Roma was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Pendarvis Williams (198-91, college: Norfolk St.) who scored 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Jalen Cannon (198-93, college: St.Francis, NY) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward DeShawn Sims (203-88, college: Michigan) who recorded 41 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and point guard Michael Deloach (184-86, college: Norfolk St.) added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively.
