Regular Season Round 30: Levallois - Dijon 79-103
Date: April 22, 2018
Very predictable result when fifth ranked JDA Dijon (17-13) outscored on the road 10th ranked Levallois (15-15) 103-79 on Sunday. The game without a history. JDA Dijon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.3 percent from the field. JDA Dijon shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Valentin Bigote (196-92) who scored 24 points and 5 assists. American Rion Brown (198-91, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 21 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Jaron Johnson (198-92, college: Louisiana Tech) who recorded 16 points and his fellow American import point guard Louis Campbell (191-79, college: Buffalo) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Four JDA Dijon and five Levallois players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. JDA Dijon moved-up to fourth place, which they share with ASVEL. Loser Levallois keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. JDA Dijon will face Le Portel (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Levallois will play against Limoges CSP Elite and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
