Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Roma Luiss (19-11) beat at home 14th ranked Battipaglia (6-24) 87-74 on Sunday. Roma Luiss dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Battipaglia's 42. They outrebounded Battipaglia 42-23 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Center Eugenio Beretta (208-96) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Leonardo Marcon (190-95, agency: Players Group) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest.
