Finals Game 3: Cluj Napoca - Olimpia Brasov 72-76

Olimpia Brasov celebrated Bronze medals as they edged Cluj Napoca on the road. It looked good early as Cluj Napoca took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Olimpia Brasov had a 21-15 second period charge getting the lead and Cluj Napoca was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 72-76. It was a great shooting night for Olimpia Brasov especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. It was a great evening for American center Kristina Higgins (196-94, college: Baylor) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. Serbian center Ana Radovic (191-90, agency: ProDep Management) helped adding 18 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Ukrainian guard Olena Samburska (175-89) with 24 points and 5 assists and American forward Amanda Thompson (185-87, college: Oklahoma) scored 7 points and 21 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
