A very interesting game took place in Buenos Aires. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 19th ranked Ferrocarril (10-23) to seventeenth ranked Boca Juniors (12-21) 105-102 on Monday evening. Boca Juniors players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The former international swingman Adrian Boccia (195-82) nailed 24 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American center Paul Harrison (203-89, college: N.Greenville) accounted for 19 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Franco Balbi (185-89) came up with 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and center Jose-Ignacio Alessio (203-87) added 21 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Ferrocarril in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Boca Juniors maintains seventeenth place with 12-21 record. Ferrocarril at the other side keeps the nineteenth position with 23 games lost. Boca Juniors' next round opponent will be higher ranked Comunicaciones (#15) in Mercedes and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ferrocarril will play at home against Quilmes MP (#16) and hope to win that game.
