No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Gravelines (17-10) smashed at home 17th ranked Le Mans (6-21) 88-69 on Tuesday. Gravelines looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Point guard Lucas Bourhis (179-0) stepped up and scored 19 points and 5 assists for the winners and point guard Pierre Hannequin (190-98) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists. Four Gravelines players scored in double figures. Gravelines' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Junior Zero (194-97) responded with 26 points and Matthieu Gauzin scored 9 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Gravelines. They maintain sixth place with 17-10 record. Le Mans lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventeenth position with 21 games lost. Gravelines will meet higher ranked Lyon-Villeurbanne (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Le Mans will play against Boulazac (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
